Tyvon Dukes, an highly accomplished gospel pianist, has seamlessly blended his musical prowess with his unwavering faith to create an inspiring journey in the realm of gospel music. Born in Chicago and raised in Chicago, to his parents Willie and Linda Dukes, Tyvon’s life has been a symphony of dedication, education, and divine melodies.
At the age of 16 was his earliest encounters with the piano, it was evident that Tyvon possessed a remarkable aptitude for music. His mother encouraged him for years to play as a child; but it wasn’t till his mid-teens where he saw another pianist that sparked the love for music in him.
In his early beginnings, he practiced for numerous hours in hopes of being able to play music with his friends, and after 6 months, he was playing gigs in Chicago. Tyvon’s journey took a significant step forward when he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music as well as continuing to play in church. This academic venture not only polished his technical skills but also expanded his knowledge of music theory and improved his technique.
Now, he has become a song writer, producer, arranger, teacher, and traveled overseas to share the gift of music.
